Changing up your bedroom can be an overwhelming process, but it doesn’t have to be! Take it from us and some of our recent Property Brothers: Forever Home bedroom makeovers: a little design know-how goes a long way.
Settling In
A bedroom is more than just a place to sleep. Due to their busy lifestyle, Lesley and Brian hadn’t had time to decorate their bedroom with anything more than a blow-up mattress. By furnishing the room with hardwood floors and new, modern furniture, they were finally able to create a home where they could relax and recharge.
Break Time
Raising kids is a full-time job, but that doesn’t mean parents don’t need a space just for themselves. For Kimberli and Sheldon, we were able to add some elegance to their bedroom by installing Sheldon’s grandmother’s chandelier above their bed.
Express Yourself
In addition to comfort and relaxation, it is important for your bedroom to also express your unique personality and style. Christina loved the beach and often took pictures of the ocean, so we found a wall-length mural similar to her photography to install behind her bed.
Bigger and Better
Renovating a bedroom doesn’t have to be limited to the bed and its surrounding décor. For Jodi and Mel, we created the ultimate befrooom suite by combining two rooms to help create a luxurious walk-in closet and a private bathroom.
