They know they found the right house, but now they need help to make it the right fit. DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS
SHOWER HEADS, NOT “OW, OUR HEADS!”
J.J. stands at 6’10”, but he’s often crouching in the shower trying to get under a shower head designed for someone a foot shorter than him. Along with 6-foot-4 Carlee, these two needed a better fit, and we gave it to them: the biggest shower we’ve ever done, in fact. Now, they can walk right in and not worry about dodging any low-hanging fixtures.
GET OUT
Despite being in a desert, Las Vegas is all about indoor-outdoor living, with plenty of sun and swimming pools. Carlee and J.J. needed better access to theirs, so we replaced the dining room window with french doors, so they can finish breakfast and jump right in. The removed wall between the kitchen and dining room gives them extra space and much better sightlines all the way to the …
COME OVER AND SIT A SPELL
… new seating area, replete with refinished fireplace and a custom sideboard where Carlee and J.J. can easily pull a few of the bottles from the wine room we built for them under their stairs. This space was underutilized previously, so we wanted to give them a thoughtfully designed space that beckons people over for after-dinner drinks and conversation.
