After beating breast cancer last year, Jennifer and her husband, Alex, were ready for a fresh start. A big part of that meant finding the home of their dreams—and a big part of that meant selling their current house for top dollar. The place had good bones, including a breathtaking view from the living room, so it didn’t need a complete overhaul. But we still found plenty to do, like combining the kitchen and living room, upgrading the kitchen appliances, and installing hardwood floors throughout.
